Hand washing is the gentlest option. Use lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent. Gently move the slippers through the water without scrubbing, twisting or wringing the crochet fabric.
Rinse carefully in lukewarm water. Press out excess water with a clean towel, reshape the slippers by hand and leave them flat to air dry away from direct heat and strong sunlight.
Can crochet slippers go in a washing machine?

Never use very hot water, bleach or a tumble dryer. Heat and aggressive movement may shrink natural fibers, distort the sneaker shape or affect decorative details.
Everyday care and storage
Spot clean small marks instead of washing the entire pair after every wear. Let slippers air between uses and store them only when completely dry.
