The safest way to wash crochet slippers

Hand washing is the gentlest option. Use lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent. Gently move the slippers through the water without scrubbing, twisting or wringing the crochet fabric.

Rinse carefully in lukewarm water. Press out excess water with a clean towel, reshape the slippers by hand and leave them flat to air dry away from direct heat and strong sunlight.

Can crochet slippers go in a washing machine?

By Seay crochet slippers may be machine washed on a delicate or wool cycle with lukewarm water. Place them in a mesh laundry bag, use mild detergent and avoid a high-speed spin whenever possible.

Never use very hot water, bleach or a tumble dryer. Heat and aggressive movement may shrink natural fibers, distort the sneaker shape or affect decorative details.

Everyday care and storage

Spot clean small marks instead of washing the entire pair after every wear. Let slippers air between uses and store them only when completely dry.

Keep the pair flat or lightly filled with clean tissue paper so the handmade high-top shape is supported. If you have questions about a particular color or model, contact Sevda before washing.
